About Anythink

Anythink is the whole backend in one project: a database with an instant REST API, sign-in, subscriptions (Stripe and Apple in-app purchases), workflows, search, file storage and an operations dashboard, all built from your data model.

People build with it in the Anythink dashboard, from the terminal with the CLI, or by asking Claude or another AI assistant through MCP. All three run the same commands against the same project, so what an assistant builds is something you can open, check and run.

The Anythink dashboard at my.anythink.cloud is where most customers first see the product. Our users are developers and the teams they build for, and they notice every slow table and confusing form.

The Role

You will own the frontend across Anythink: the dashboard, the marketing site and the docs. The dashboard is React and TypeScript with Radix UI, Tailwind, AG Grid and React Flow; the marketing site and docs are Next.js. This is complex interactive UI with real state, async data and a high bar for performance, built closely with the platform engineers.

What you'll work on

  • The dashboard's data views: grid, kanban, map, calendar and charts on the same records
  • The visual workflow editor, built on React Flow
  • Subscription and plan admin, sign-in settings, roles and permissions screens
  • The AI chat sidebar that builds and changes a project from a prompt
  • The marketing site and docs: performance, components and new pages
  • The open-source TypeScript SDK for sign-in and sessions
  • Custom interfaces for enterprise customers that run on Anythink

Must-have

  • TypeScript by default, not as an afterthought
  • React, plus Next.js App Router, server components and data fetching
  • Tailwind CSS, used with the grain rather than against it
  • Strong fundamentals: layout, accessibility, responsive design and semantic HTML
  • REST API integration: async state, loading states and error handling done properly
  • Product sense: you think about the person using the screen, not only the implementation

Nice-to-have

  • Radix UI or another headless component library
  • AG Grid or React Flow
  • Motion (Framer Motion) or other animation libraries
  • Figma: taking designs to implementation without hand-holding
  • Design systems or component libraries at scale
  • Performance work: Core Web Vitals, bundle size, lazy loading
